We are delighted to welcome Willie Watt PPRIAS to Michies for an Aberdeen City Centre sketching workshop 9:30am-3:30pm.
(Please note there is the option of staying on for a presentation from Willie at 4pm - see details at the end)
Willie Watt is an architect with a deep rooted love of drawing, having drawn since he was at primary school and throughout his career, both in terms of his work and for simple pleasure in his free time. He fundamentally believes that the act of drawing catalyses architectural thought allowing an architect to analyse a landscape, a site or a building so that they can respond creatively to it in order to create a solution which is appropriate and fits the locale. Drawing also makes the creative process for all involved fun. That is a process and approach which underpins the work of his practice Nicoll Russell Studios where the pen is every bit as important as the computer.
Join him for a sketching workshop in Aberdeen, taking a close look at the stunning and historic architecture within and around our famous 'Granite Mile' whilst learning tips and techniques along the way.
Booking in advance is essential, directly via messenger to Willie @thearchitectssketchbook or EventBrite - see the link in this event page.
